The Girl who kicked the Hornet's nest

Part three in a trilogy of books.  You should read the previous two books before reading this book - The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and The Girl who played with fire.

It is a continuation and the girl is in the hospital after the previous episode and she is trying to be incriminated by the government for her behaviour in the previous two books.

I have read both the others and the third did not disappoint even keeping me up at 1am because "I wanted to know what happened". There are not many books which are able to draw so much attention from me.

City of Fear

I am happy that I do not live in this city - there seems to be very few people that you are able to trust.

Three youn girls go out to party and they know how to party BUT one of them decides to stay a little longer and lets the other two go back without her - needless to say she does not make it back.

There are connections to other cases - some detectives want to close the case with the confession they have already but one of the cops doesn't think so - and the other cop is a woman..

An entertaining read but a little nasty in places for me.

Keeper of the Bride

Well this was a Tess Gerritsen book so expect it to be.

At the beginning there was the fairy tale wedding and I thought that I had picked up the wrong book and then the book exploded - literally.

The plot took me in a direction which I thought and then it stopped and took me in a totally different direction.

I felt very real affection for the main characters and was pleasantly surprised

Fear the worst

The plot for the story was very simple plot but it quickly became a very twisted plot and made entertaining by the inter-relationships of the characters.

Miniscule 2 the private life of insects

Well this really has to be seen - if you have enjoyed cartoons with a funny side then this door into the secret life of insects is fabulous.

There is very little that I can compare it to - possibly creature comfort and shaun the sheep are the closest.

Have a look

The Green Mile

After reading about prison executions I decided to watch this film again.  Okay it was long but the film was good and the prison scenes were quite authentic - the back story of the elderly man seemed a little far fetched but it was certainly painful to listen to him telling his story.
