The position that the man is in throws up a number of interesting ideas... A wonderful film by a very talented (sometimes) writer.
Christopher Walken is wonderful in this role - he is both absorbing and he is believable. I would not say that the film is close to the book - it isn't. That is not to it's detriment however. Okay the film looks a little dated but this does not matter.
The film is a number of situations which the man with the ability is thrown into. The situations are quite simple and the actions that he takes are also understandable - what would you do?
