Bob James

Product Description

Product Description from
Bob James is credited with raising the profile of jazz fusion within the mainstream, and his influence has resulted in two of his tracks "Nautilus" and "Take Me to the Mardi Gras", being in heavy demand for hip-hop samples.
While playing at the Notre Dame Jazz Festival in 1963, he was discovered by Quincy Jones. This fortuitous meeting resulted in Bold Conceptions, the first of over thirty solo albums. He has also released several collaborative efforts and is the founding member of the smooth jazz supergroup Fourplay, releasing eight albums under this name.

This was also a fortunate accident - the Ipod needed to be payed with....... found this gentleman in the chill section and was blown away. Restless was the particular album.  Not particularly fond of the classical crossovers  - but wonderful.
