Part 1 was an absorbing tale of the creation of a monster who thought that he was a god - Robin Hood for the normal person - taking away the money from the bank BUT not sharing his gains.
He was an entertaining man and played beautifully by Vincent Calles - amongst a great deal of his other films. There was a wonderful support cast and Gèrard Depardieu was amongst them.
Immensely watchable (but long).
Part 2 was the continuation of his trip into brazen robbery, escaping from prisons and exacting revenge. There are a number of twists and turns and the sequence at the end is beautifully shot.
