I have read a number of Faye Kellerman's books so I thought that I would give this a go.
Sacred and Profane is an apt title - unfortunately the book was not what I expected. The murder is wrapped around the relationship of the Investigator with a Jewish woman of faith who had previously been married......... and then the Investigator reveals to her that he was adopted but was born into the Jewish faith................
The story was not what I thought that it was - but it was well written.
